Oh là là !!!

So now that we have enjoyed a month and a half in Spain we just took off to.... Vence !!!! A nice little village in the Côte d'Azur with cobblestone streets and plenty of charm.... but not any kind of charm... pure French "charmeeeeeeeee".

We are staying at our friends Anja & Torben's house, a beautiful villa with a great garden, an even better pool and plenty of nice little corners. Tio Kaki, tia Fifi, we can't wait to have you here !!!!

This is just our first day here and we are already enjoying like crazy. During the coming days we will tell you about everything we do here. Keep reading :-)

La Marina

Most mornings I go for a walk with the abuelo & Rocco.

Last week it was specially nice because mom came also with us and the sun was shining so we went to the Marina, one of my favorite places in La Coruna.

I really like it because there are plenty of boats and a very nice playground.

The houses you can see in the background are also very special because all of them have nice galerias with white windows.

We were quite tired after the walk so we went to Nemo, a new cafe by the sea.

It is a really cool place because if you sit in one of the tables outside you can have a nice juice enjoying the sun while you look at the boats.... and you even get chips and aceitunas !!!!

And in our stroller we go to many cool places... like this one.

Well, have to confess that when mom said we had to go and buy coffee we were not really excited about the plan but... then we got there and... we absolutely loved it !

They had all those little metallic cubes with many many different colors and, as it turned out, each one of them has a different kind of coffee inside !

We were really happy playing with some of them and then they offered mom to have a cup of coffee. Did not really expect to have one ourselves but then a nice chica at the shop came and gave me some chocolate... and also a biscuit !!!

Mmmmm, I am already counting the days to go and buy some more coffee :-)

10 things we love about our stroller

1. We can go together in the same stroller and we look like the "duo dinamico"
2. It is a really special stroller so people look at us all the time
3. No excuse to stay at home: mom can take both of us for a walk even if she is alone
4. Manuel really enjoys his chair but can also choose to go incognito and lay down for a nap
5. It is a really small one so we can get into all our favorite shops.... well, and also into mom's favorite ones :-)
6. So easy to drive that Daniel loves walking Manuel around town
7. Not that the weather is that good this summer but, when the sun shines we both have nice sun covers to escape the heat... ideal for nap time
8. Those fancy red cushions are really comfy
   
9. It bends really fast so we can jump into abuelo's car in no time !!!
10. With those big wheels.... we can't wait to stroll in the snow once the winter arrives to Prague :-)

End of party with Pablo & Nuky

Did I say that the day could not get any better? It just did !!!

This afternoon mom took Manuel and I to our friends Pablo & Nuki's house. And what a house.... they have a great garden so I was showing Pablo my football skills. I think he was quite impressed and he even mentioned that being a lefty I can sign up for 10 million + !!!

And then we both put on the swimming diapers and went to the pool. We had so much fun jumping and splashing around... then the neighbors joined us with some beers and... well, I won't tell you more or dad will start getting worried about my summer activities !

Going to the police

Wow, today it has been a really interesting day so I had to come and blog to tell you all about it.

Mom and I had to renew our passport so off we went to the Police in order to get it done.

Can you think of a better plan?

Mom had already told me that we would see many policemen and police cars so I was really excited about it but I was not ready for what was waiting....

There I met a really nice policeman who lent me his cup, showed me a gun and.... even let me jump into a police van !!!

For a moment I thought he was going to let me drive it but I guess I still have to grow a bit more for that :-)

Still, I think I did a good job because he even gave me a very nice black ball as a present. Not sure if the abuela will be that happy though because the ball jumps like crazy !

And when I thought things could not get any better then they asked me to put my fingers on a very cool machine to get my fingerprints.

As they do in the films !!!!

Mmmmm, guys get ready because when I grow up I am going to be the best policeman in the world :-)

Aleteeeeeeeeeeee !!!

Or what is the same.... CHOCOLATEEEEE !!!

It is not the first time I blog about "Bonilla" my favorite chocolate place and, even if we are in the middle of summer, there is always a space for some hot chocolate with churros.

I have this deal with mom and the abuelos and they will take me to Bonilla every time I am a very good boy. I am afraid it doesn't happen as always as they would like to :-) but, once in a while..... I behave well and I have my sweet compensation.


Look, a couple of days ago I went there with mom, la abuela and Manuel and we had a lot of fun. I had a whole cup of chocolate for myself and 3 churros. Probably sounds like a lot but, still, I had to fight like a lion because mom wanted to eat it all !!!!

Unfortunately for Manuel he is too young to try chocolate but, as soon as he can, I will take him there myself.... well..... only if he is a good boy :-)

Hola chicos !

lately I have been very busy getting to know all my family and new friends here so Daniel has been the one giving you updates...

I will soon get up to speed on my blogging duties but, in the meanwhile, I wanted to share a picture so that you can see how happy I am here in Spain. Now I just need to wait a couple of more weeks till dad comes to visit and we will be happy as ever !!!!

Meet Xulia & Lara

Today I want to introduce you to two of my best friends: Xulia and Lara.

They are the nieces of tia Fifi and I really have a lot of fun playing with them.

I already met them last week when tio Kaki and tia Fifi took me with them to spend the day in Laxe with tia Fifi's family and we really had a blast. And yesterday we repeated the playdate here in a park near my home.

Xulia is a really smart girl. She always takes care of me and she is so pretty that (ssshhh, don't tell anyone) I think I have a crush on her. She always behaves very well, does everything her mom says and never gets out of bed at night time. I like her so much that I am going to start doing it too !!!

Lara is a lot of fun. She is also very pretty with her blond hair and.... she loves eating. We really share that passsion and, as we are very good friends, yesterday we shared a nice pizza :-)

As you can see I am always surrounded by pretty "chicas" :-)

La Coruña

It has been a while but don't you think that Manuel and I have forgotten about you... the only reason why we have not been writing so often is because we have been really really busy....in La Coruña !!!

We arrived already 10 days ago and we have barely had a minute free. Such a busy social life :-)

El abuelo and the abuela had everything ready for our arrival.

My room is really cool and I love my extra large big boy bed. According to the long naps Manuel is having lately I believe he is also quite happy with his crib !

The weather is also behaving quite well so we go to the beach and to the parks very often.

Last Friday we went to the Monte San Pedro and I have to say we weren't disappointed at all !

It is a great park located in a high hill. The grass is so green that you just feel like rolling down the hill and the views of the city are really breathtaking.

I had a great time playing football with the abuelo, Rocco and a couple of new friends. Well, actually it was Rocco who had a blast grabbing the ball and biting it.... he is so fast !

Then I spent a long time at the playground and, by the end of the afternoon I was ready for dinner.

Pasta with tomate al fresco.... what a luxury !!!

Manuel was not able to try my pasta but he also managed to have a great time napping in our new stroller. You see? and he is dressed like a true Coruñes :-)

And when we thought the day could not get any better tio Kaki arrived by surprise to spend some time with us. Can you think of a better plan?

Ah ! I forgot.... tio Kaki just came back from his golf lessons and said that he did the best round of his life. He was really happy and said I should not forget to tell papa. Looks like they are planning to go together to the course when papa comes in a couple of weeks so he is getting ready to beat something (I could not get that clearly) out of him :-)
