First steps.... Bravo Manuel !

A couple of weeks ago I exchanged toys with my friend Daphne. I gave her my play station and she lent me a beautiful wood walker. Of course, with such a great toy... I had to give it a go.

I never thought walking would be so much fun !

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

And, while the abuelo and the abuela head towards the Caribbean... we just enjoyed some snow !!!

This year we are not getting that much here in Prague but we are a determined bunch so we took the sledges and off we went to a nearby ski station, Moninec, a beautiful little resort in the mountains just one hour away from Prague.


I was really excited about it. Not only because it would be the first time Manuel would enjoy the snow, but also because my friends Cis, Mona, Guillermo, Adri, Eva & Toma were joining too !!!

It was really cold but we were real troopers and slided down like real professionals. Even Manuel tried it once !!! though I have to say he did not seem to be very happy about it :-)

This is a really tough exercise so after a couple of hours we were ready for some apres ski, including spaghetti, french fries and dumplings... what a feast ! That really loaded our batteries so we were ready for some more snow before getting into the car.

That was when we saw the BIG slide. You just need to get into a big wheel and slideeee down ! Sounds quite simple but better said than done, my friends. Actually, it was so tough that I had to go down with papa so that he wouldn't be scared !

And we know that pictures are good but videos are much better so here you have a couple of them so that you can see Manuel, dad and I in action. I am sure you will enjoy them.

Needless to say, Manuel and I slept like little angels on the way back.
