Breakfast

Daniel and I love breakfast time, for several reasons:

1. Eating is our favorite sport so, by the time we wake up after a loooong night... our stomachs do "gggrrrrroooaaarrrr"

2. I am starting to eat alone like a real professional so I have plenty of fun grabbing the food from my own plate (even if the floor looks like a total mess after that!!!)

3. Daniel loves having breakfast too and his favorite food is bread with wurst (from Neumarkt, of course) and biscuits del abuelo :-)

4. All the family has breakfast together so Daniel and I really enjoy having that time with mom and dad !!!

I think there will only be one thing I will enjoy more... when will I be old enough to try that chocolate con bizcochos????

Can't wait !!! In the meanwhile.... I will just enjoy my breakfast.

Let's go to the park

We are so lucky with the weather. Spring has truly arrived to Prague and we are enjoying sunny days with 18 degrees so... what can be better than going to the park !

Brunch @ the Corinthia with Gabi & Sofia

Last Sunday we went for brunch to a very nice hotel here in town, the Corinthia Towers. They run these yummy brunches every two weeks and for each on of them they have a special theme. Last week was ITALY !!!

So Manuel and I put on our best smiles and got ready to be charming bambinos because our friends Gabi & Sofia were joining us. It is really funny because their mom is Spanish like ours and their dad is German like ours too !!! As you can imagine we had loads to talk about :-)

So we had a lot of fun @ the brunch. The food was really nice and there was an area with many many toys so that we could play. Our friends Sofia & Gabi got their face painted and we even had the visit of a clown who was really nice but a bit silly so we had a lot of fun with him.

And then they took us to the kitchen were we had an opportunity to bake our own pizza. Isn't that cool? Now that I am a certified cook I am going to ask mom to buy me a hat like that one so that I can prepare dinner once in a while !!

A very special postcard

So Manuel got a very special Happy Birthday postcard.... from the abuelos !!!

Pretty amazing surprise when we opened the envelope and saw them all dressed up and smiley. Manuel was really happy to get such a special birthday present and me... I am totally crazy about that ship !!!

Can't wait to see the abuelos and ask them to them with me on their next cruise. I would really look cool in a suit like the abuelo :-)

Guess.... who is a big boy? who has just turned one year old? who is just one step closer to being allowed to play with Daniel's cars?

MANUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL !!!!!

Yes, our little Manuel blew his birth candle last week and, to celebrate such special occasion, we got together with Oma, Opa, Klaus, Jessie and Marcel for a lovely weekend @ the Bayerischer Wald.

We really wanted this to be a special weekend for the kids so we went to this amazing family hotel where everything is made for them. Daniel, Marcel & Manuel had a lot of fun at the playground, they loved the special menu for kids, the painting room and,... of course... the indoor pool with slide !!!

There was still some snow in the mountains so the could also enjoy the last sled of the season. And, the best of all,.... the ride with the horse carriage.

It was the perfect weekend for the perfect occasion. Just one thing was missing... the Spanish section of the family !!! Daniel was asking a lot for Oma, Opa, Tio Kaki and Tia Fifi and I am sure that Manuel would have loved having them close to him but, one thing is sure... they are with us in our heart :-)
